Import Not Happening Automatically

hi All,

I m using MDM5.5 SP5

My MDM server is in Germany.

But i hv Import Server installed on my desktop....i have successfully done import using Import Manager.

Now i m trying to use Import Server.....but my file is not getting picked from Inbound Ready Folder.

in MDIS.ini file i hv given IP address of my Germany Server.

What else i need to do???

Did you check the user permissions at OS level ?

In the MDIS.ini file ensure that hte login details are provided so that the MDIS can log in to the repository.

Please also check the following :

1. Inbound port in the console -has been set to automatic processing

2. In the MDM server : Start ->Programs->Admin Tools ->Service if the MDM Server & Import Server services are up and running

In case they are you could restart them to check if the services are running.

3. In the Import manager, open the required map and click -save update and then check if the automatic update works .
