BBPSTART in SRM 5.5 - Internal ITS

Former Member

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:

I have played with the ICF services trying for the initial SRM screen BBPSTART to allow login to the users. I have checked several notes and vefified the "101" settings.

I DO NOT WANT SSO. Only direct URL calls from a Web browser.

After removing the SSO error messages, I still recieve the following message and asking to click onto a separate logon screen instead of allowing the user to enter username and password in the initial screen. Looks like read only.

"""Choose "Logon" to continue A dialog box appears in which you can enter your user and password"""

How can I enable the first screen to allow the user to logon without this annoyance.

Thank You,

Hector,

Hi. Check the below in SICF for service BBPSTART.

1) Error Pages--> System Logon

Protocol should be set to " 'X' do not switch "

2) Logon Data --> Procedure

This value is normally standard, but you could set to " 'L' Alternative logon procedure" or " 'O' Required with logon data"

3) Service Data --> GUI Configuration.

Just check the values here: --> Ours are set as below

~TRANSACTION BBPGLOBAL

~FLICKERFREE 0

~DISCONNECTONCLOSE 0

~COOKIES 1

~THEME 99

BBP_ITS_URL /scripts/wgate

~EXITURL

thank you Robin,

So that there is a solution to this and there is an answer for others to find. The issue is the SSO parameters that need to be set to 1 even if you are not expecting to use the SSO functionality.

After the parameters take place, the application works well.
