if the ITS is configured properly you can get the ITS url using FM

ITS_GET_URL

and use program

SIAC_PUBLISH

to publish the IACs

please ignore my answer about ITS_GET_URL. this would only work when you are in an ITS environment.

As for the publishing program it should be available. which version of R/3 being used?

check table TWPURLSVR to see the links.

Check with your BASIS people for the ITS info.

check out this link for more info.

Hi,

I had actually tried the table. There were no entries in it.The entries that wer there were all from SAP.AG or SAP.

So I had created a new logical system ITS_ESSURL and for the paramter webserver gave the IP of the ITS system and for protocol http and saved it.

But then when i go to SE80 and say publish for the miniApp it asked for configuration of RFC destionation.

What should i do..

Is it necesary to publish all the miniAPps involved in the business package manually !

(And by the way the basis guys are unavailable... so i have to sort it out myself !:( )

When i try to publish the miniapp the error i am getting is

<b>No destinations have been entered and no suitable destination defined</b>

some installation step (which i dont know) will automatically create RFC destination for ITS system.

check out transaction SM59 and you should see RFC destinations (under TCP/IP connections)

like below.

IACOR_*****_ITS

IACOR_*****_WWW

there will be two entries and both will be starting with IACOR

it clearly indicates that the ITS is not properly configured.

It is a stand alone R/3 .So it is a separate ITS server . We are trying to implement ESS in EP 6.0 . But once we configure the system for R/3 it is going to a page where it

SAYS

<b>"The Internet Transaction Server could not start the transaction "ma_ess_webcam" because of the following error: Transaction MA_ESS_WEBCAM is unknown. "</b>

When we use a business package are we supposed to publish all the related services from the R/3 side manually.

How should I proceed ?

Hi

Well in the portal go to System Administration --> System Configuration and then say create system. In the system that you create you will have something like ITS configuration.

Well in the host give the ITS server name and port.

Contact the basis person for this information if you dont have it.

In the ITS path property type /scripts/wgate

Hope that helps. Let me know if that solved your problem :). it should..
