How to register new program ID in the RFC Dest of Type T ???

Hi,

I have done a migration from AIX to HPUX. we have still the old Program ID registered in the AI_DIRECTORY_JCOSERVER and AI_RUNTIME_JCOSERVER. i want to create a new one (which should also reflect in the JCO Rfc Provider in the Visual Admin).

How can i create and register a new Program ID in SM59 of type T ??

Thanks, could resolvee this. i changed the values in the visual admin ffor the already existing program id's and it created a new one and its running...

Hi ,

if your doing RFC to file ,in RFC adapter you have a option where u have give program id and the same name should be given in sm59 of type T

then your scenario works

Hi Sourav,

You can used any name for program id but just have to make sure than you used same everywhere.

Even it should work with Old Program ID.
