I am trying to locate a stand-alone gateway for NetWeaver 2004. I found the thread for where it is for 2004s and downloaded it and can see SAPINST for gateway under Stand-Alone Engines. However, I have the installation master for 51031123_NW04SR1_640_2_MASTER_SAP_ERP_2004_SAP_ECC_5.0_SR1. And I am not sure if 2004s gateway would have problems with 2004 netweaver.
At this point need to mention that I have only been working with this server for 3 weeks or so. It was already set up a year ago and now I need to add a stand-alone gateway to it.
So if anyone knows the file name, that contains the gateway, on the portal page https://websmp105.sap-ag.de/swdc --> Installations and Upgrades / Entry by Application Group / SAP NetWeaver / SAP NETWEAVER 04 / Installation and Upgrade / Windows Server / Oracle.
I located some information that indiciated that it would be in the Presentation disk (PRES1), but when I downloaded 50083078_4, it was not there. I also downloaded 50083078_5 and 50083078_6 and even the Installation Master 51032936_13, but the gateway install was not in any of them either.
Even tho I found the gateway on the 2004s page and could install that, I would feel a lot better if I could find the gateway on the 2004 page due to belief that that would eliminate any potential compatibility issues.
If anyone knows which file on the 2004 page has gateway, would appreciate knowing the filename. Or if you have high level of confidence that gateway from 2004s page would work with 2004 netweaver, would be interested in your expression of that confidence.
