SAP console Installation guide version 2.0 February 2002 still usable?

Dear all

I did install sapconsole and connected via telnet server in 2005.

I used then "SAP console Installation guide version 2.0 February 2002 for the version included in SAP GUI 4.6B and higher.

Is this version still usable(for this kind of connection on ECC5 and ECC6)? Where to get latest news on sapconsole topic?

If I remember correctly the base station of Handheld Wireless Computer is connected to the PC using telnet and sapconsole via RS232?

this will not work as SAPGUI 4.6b will not connect to ECC6.

go get the latest version of installation guide and media.
