Reverse proxy is nothing but another proxy server which hides the actual URL that needs to be called and provides another URL which is much different to the actual one. By doing this, you will be shielding the details of the actual server on which the web service or the server is hosted. This is very useful when you are having external systems in your integration scenario. Security wise also it is very much suggested.

My client using URL to recieve Order acceptence from another client using R3
the old URL as follows..
https://www.xyz.com/xi/sap/xi/adapter_plain?bs=responce system&namespace=http://abc.com&interface=ORDRSP.ORDERS05&qos=EO
now my client wanna change XYZ name to another system
he changed but it is not working..
my question is :
where we can change this URL ..
....
