Pick file using file url

Hi,

I have a requirement to pick up a pdf file and ftp it to another location. The file needs to be pickedup using the file url. XI recieves the url of the file in a Order Inbound sync scenario(SOAP -> XI -> RFC) in a particular field and this path needs to be used to pick the file and ftp it to different location. Please suggest me how can I do this.

you could do it in a Java Mapping or maybe with a BPM (sync - async bridge)
