what are Advantages of Smartforms over SAPscript???

Hi Kavitha,

here are some advantages

1. Creating & maintaining form requires half the time.

2. Adapting to Form without any programming techniques due to GUI.

3. Web publishing using the generated XML output.

4. Drag & drop facility available with the Graphical tool.

5. The Smartforms allows user to execute simple modifications to the form and form

logic by using simple graphical tools.

6. On activating the Form it automatically generates a Function Module.

These are the Major Advantages with Smartforms.

1) Web publising of forms using Email or As Webpages.

2) Print program logic is simplified bcoz you need not to call many FMs like in scripts.

3) ABAP coding can be writtern in Smartform.

4) Images can be displayed as Background graphics

5) Using Table Painter will can display the Data in Tabular form.

6) Paragraph and Character formats are always Reusable.

7) A page can be defined without MAIN window in Smartforms

😎 Smartforms are client independent unlike SAPScript forms.
