what's the search-help for field NACHN and VORNA (first/last name)?

Hi experts,

what's the search-help for field NACHN and VORNA (first/last name)? in a context attribute, we use Automitic Input Help Mode for field NACHN and VORNA, but when running the application, seems no F4/search help can be used there..

so could you please help on this? thanks very much!

Hello!

Automatic Input Help means that it will find out the Search Help automatically for that element, if it exists. You can find out from the database table that what is the Entry/Help Check for these two fields. In P0002, there is no help check defined for these two fields (which is obviuos). Maybe if you have a Z-table with these two fields, you can define foreign keys for these two fields from the table which contains the names.

There are no search help for NACHN and VORNA, even in SAP Standard Screen.

Yes there is a help for PERNR where the input is NACHN and VORNA the search help name is PREM.

For firstname and last name you have to create a search help.

Thanks all, we just tried PREMN N Last name - First name for this, but unfortunately, when we keyin the Last / First name and select the filtered data, it is the personnel number(num) that to be populated in the field, it is not the last/first name.

so we decide to use PREM for field pernr. thanks again for your kind help.
