Hi,

Please read the rules of engagement before you post.

Step 1: Finding An Answer

Rule number one: Try to find the answer first. There are tons of resources out there, show that you have tried to find the answer. A question that shows that the person is willing to try and help themselves is more likely to be answered than one which simply demands information. Tell us what you have done to try and solve the problem yourself - often we can learn from that too!

Search the forums, the articles, the blog posts and the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) in the Wiki for your topic.

Thank you.

Babu,

The realization phase plays very vital role. what ever you have configured i.e like base line configuration then unit testing 1 , if u find gaps or process deviations then you have to bridge those gaps by doing required configuration i.e final configuration by considering business requirements which was not considered earlier or there may new requirement. Hence after final configuration again go for unit testing if ok then integration testing, rigorus testing and finally performance testing.

So all the testing scenarios will be the realizaton stage. Hence this is very importatant

The purpose of Phase 3 is to configure the R/3 System, in order to have an integrated and documented solution which fulfills your business process requirements.

In this phase, configuration of your system is carried out in two steps: Baseline and Final Configuration. The Baseline configuration is designed to configure about 80% of your daily business transactions and all of your master data, and organizational structure. The remaining configuration is done in process-oriented cycles. After this, data transfer programs, as well as interfaces, need to be tested.

ealization phase is further can be sub divided into

1} baseline configuration

2}final configuration phase

3)unit testing phase

4}integration testing and

BASELINE CONFIGURATION

The time period or phase in a ASAP methodology SAP implementation project when the system is set up with 100% of master data and organizational structure and 80% of the business process requirements of the organization implementing the sap system.

Here you consider al those business process transactions identified in the BPML and performing the configuration. The base line configuration is such that all mission critical processes are implemented in the r/3 system and offers a solid foundation for the final configuration. The baseline phase also requires you to create process test plans.

FINAL CONFIGURATION

the business requirements that are not included in the baseline phase are which is out of the scope of the project are completed.

Business proessess that have already been configured during the baseline phase will be refined during this phase of final configuration.

BASELINE PHASE

INTEGRATION TEST PHASE

in this phase we will perform tests on cross modular processes or those processes that involve more than one module of sap to complete.

INTEGRATION PHASE TEST 1

CONCENTRATES ON THOSE TRANSACTIONS WHICH INVOLE A DATA LOW FROM ONE MODULE TO ANOTHER IN THE BUSINESS PROCESS FLOW.

INTEGRATION TEST PHASE 2

EXECUTE BACK TO BACK PROCESSES ASIF THE ENTIRE PROCESS WAS ENTIRELY IN ONE MODULE.
