Hi Experts,
I have to make a webservice call to "vanilla" install of SAP running system...
Could you please tell me, what is meant by "vanilla" install?

Just substitute vanilla for default, and reread the doc.
It comes from vanilla icecream, i.e. when people ask for icecream, it's what comes by default

ASFAIK it is definitely not a SAP terminology or keyword.

Vanilla is a term related to ERP. Vanilla installation generally refers to very basic installations. See this
