Automatic disabling of central CCMS alert during certain times

Hi,

I have setup the availability monitoring on our instances and alert are sent via email when a system goes up or down.

We take offline snap backups of many of these systems at specific times every week. This creates emails alerting us to the system unavailability.

Is there any easy way of scheduling these alerts not to be triggered during during these times?

Hi Adriaan,

in transasction GRMG you can schedule 'monitoring pauses' both manually & scheduled automatically - to my knowledge, alerts will be disabled for these pauses.

I use standard CCMS alert not GRMS, but you put me on the right track by calling it a monitoring pause so I find the place to change it.
