HI,

Look for the thread for the overall implementation duration.

For the code development effort,

mostly connected to

1. Mapping (XSLT java, XSLT ABAP)

2. RFC development

3. Third Party applications involving SCRIPTS (incase of FILE etc.,)

Add at least 2 to 4 weeks to the overall time.

One point to say at this time is that XI development doesn't only mean Java coding but ABAP too. Above thread I tried posting the overall time frame

to know and process with ABAP as well.

If you are looking for any specific RFC or BAPIC calls, please let us know and probably will be able to give you if I have it in my repositoty.

Thanks,

Srini.

hey guys...

XI projects are not only "java":)

if you plan to connect XI with third party application

you may have to do a lot of coding in good old ABAP

(RFC function modules for non standard updates, user exits to fill idocs with more data)

certainly working with XI doesn't only mean Java coding:)

Hi

Apart from what sudhir told, if u plan to use <b>Module Processor</b> in Adapter's u have to do <b>Java Coding</b>.

Regarding how much time project take it purely depends on the complexity of project.

Hope it helps

P.S:- Thx for points:)
