Cannot use T-code DB01 after oracle upgrade from 9.2.0.7 to 10.2.0.2

After the oracle upgrade, db01 doesn't work with error message shown below.

"Not ORACLE version 8/9 - program aborted"

There is a correction in SAP Note 965485, however, this note can only be implemented from BASIS support package 620_46 to 620_61 but mine is SAP_BASIS 620 SP 43 (SAP_ABA is the same).

Is there any way to apply the correction without applying new support packages or any way to use T-code db01 w/o applying this correction?

Thanks.

Check Note 868681 - Oracle Database 10g: Database Release Check.

You need to import one of the transports to enter the new version.

Hi Markus,

Thank you for your info, however I've already applied Note 868681 and DB02/ST04 is working properly. The only problem is DB01 (Note 965485). But currently I cannot apply Note 965485 since my BASIS/ABA SP level is still 43. (It's valid from SP46 to SP61)

What I want to do is to apply 965485 correction without importing additional basis support packages (44,45,46).

Thank you.

If you try to download that note and implement it (in a test system), it will request all required/dependent notes appropriately. Unfortunately not the corrections or note numbers are listed but only the necessary support packages.

If you download the note you will see, if it can be implemented or not.

sorry, but you have no choice on importing these support packs.
