On the java stack, we see the foll instances:
dispatcher
SDM
j2ee instance
each of the above require http or https ports, debug ports, sdm ports to be configured.
My qns are as foll:
What is the purpose of hving debug ports (on each of the above) and when are they used?
The dispatcher/sdm/j2ee instance - these are nothing but processes that run on the java server?
Pertaining to creation of systems in portal, which port is to be specified for 'Server Port' property?
i'd really appreciate if someone can help clarify the above. thanks in advance!
