Help, ORA-12154 TNS could not resolve service name

Oracle Service for IDES is running.

There are three DB instances on the Server, So I think they should have different listen port.

How can I get the know the port(profile), I think I should define a name service.

This situation happens after I have Reinstall a NetWeaver on the server. And I can't start the IDES now.

Hi,

The error happens even BEFORE the petition is sent to the listener.

The error means that SAP is sending a request to connect to <SID> but the <SID> is not on the tnsnqmes.ora (default and only resolution method supported by SAP )

Review your tnsnqmes.ora, check that is taking the correct one ( environment variables ... )
