exchangeProfile Backup

Hi experts,

We want to make a full backup of exchangeProfile and all objects of Integration Builder (Design and Configuration). How do we do that?

Hi,

In SLD ...Goto Administrator.

You have the option of "BackUp" under "Content" e..from where you can take a backup of all content.

As far as IR backup is considered, you can export complete software component version.

I forgot to tell that we want to do that automatically, putting it for example into a backup script.

Hi Manuel,

you have "Export" option in Exchange Profile start page (http://<host>:<port>/webdynpro/dispatcher/sap.com/tc_xiexprofui/XIProfileApp).

But I'm not sure you can do it automatically.

Nevertheless, Exchange Profile documentation says that it is maintained as an XML file in the main database of the XI system. Thus, by backing up the database, you'd theoretically also backup the Exchange Profile.
