how to fill current time in one of the fields in message mapping?

Hi,

Under function category date there is a function module "currentDate". You can have date in variuos format like yyyy/mm/dd, yyyy/dd/mm...so on..if you want you can add time as well.

I want only the current time not the date...

It will give you the current system time as well, you can use the format functionality and/or the substring function to get just the time.

Hi Xier,

Try this I will give you steps

1) goto Message mapping >Choose the Date Function->select Current Date double click on the current date > choose it--> Remove the date in the date format (Make it emty) ---> choose second text box is time choose it which format do u want u can choose it. This one will display only time. because u choose the date is emty it won't display date. so u r problem will be solve

There is a standard Date function '<i>currentDate</i>'.

Thanks Guys I found the answer myself.

Use the function Current Date in Message mapping, right click to go to its properties and click the question mark sign there, in the new window select the format you want.
