Billing documents taking already used number range once the range finished

The number range interval is exhausted for the billing documents. Once it is finished when I am creating the new billing documents the range which is already finished is becoming active again and all the way the documents are numbered from the beginning of the range again with an ABAP dump.

1. Can any of my friend suggest the soultion for this behaviour?

2. I also request any OSS notes regarding this. It is very urgent plz..

Hi

i am just wondering how can a number range get exhausted where if you practically speak it starts from 00000000 to ZZZZZZZZZ , so if you have maintained a small interval in between any of these you can go ahead and create a new range by going to Tcode VN01 and assign the billing document in t code VOFA, to your respective document type

you can use number range from even if you use a number range from AAAAAAAA to DDDDDDDD you its more than a million range range ...
