After create a shipment in where the configuration controls shipment cost item creation?

Hi,

The shipment type is assigned to a shipment cost type. That is how the costs would get activated. Pls chk the relevant menu where the assignment of shipment cost type is done to shipment type.

Logistics Execution - Transportation - Shipment costs - shipment cost document - shipment cost relevance and default for shipment cost type

The shipment cost type are assigned to the item categories and you can see in the assignment of item categories to shipment cost type, there is a valuation class assignment which inturn is linked with the G/L accounts.

For this the menu is,

Logistics Execution - Transportation - Shipment costs - shipment cost document -

shipment cost type and item categories
