Hi,
I am working on a standalone ITS.
Tried publishing a service, in se80,
It says no ITS server selected or site defined.
Later, in settings->ITS server
In Other ITS web server specified
myservername:80
where <i>myservername</i> is the DNS of the ITS server.
Specified in <i>path</i> : sap/bc/gui/sap/its and
checked HTTPS
Now, i picked an ITS service and tried publish'n it.
Success!!
Checked in sicf...
In default_host/sap/bc..
cldn't find node gui
I manually tried creating - gui/sap/its
And created the Service node. But nothing seems to work.
Where is the service getting published?
I tried accessing :
http://myservername:80/scripts/wgate/pzm3/!
Says : service unavailable
Was reading a blog about WEBGUI ITS service
What is this WEBGUI?
How do i know whether it's installed??
Regards,
Remi
It was the problem of the IIS server.
/thread/95062 [original link is broken]
It seems sap/wgate/scripts is a virtual directory, which is maintained in IIS.
I went searching for the folder <i>wgate</i> in the server, under the assumption the path is different.
Anyways, the problem got resolved.
Thank you, all !!

Hello Remi,
the integrated ITS comes with the WebAS release 6.40 and above. The ICF service
default_host/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui is part of the distribution and is available
whitout further installation.
I assume you are using an old release of the WebAS.
Publishing issues are discussed in our Wiki article
"How to activate, publish and test ITS services in the integrated ITS?"
best regards
Tobias

It was working a month back.
I was accessing pzm3 with :
http://myserver:80/scripts/wgate/pzm3/!
It was working
Now, since there is no node, sap/bc/gui/sap/its
I changed it to scripts/wgate in settings
And tried publishing again.
And accessing the service with the same url.
Still says : Service stopped.
Could it because the port number is still not the same??
How do i know the port number?
Hello Remi,
I don't understand your question. You are using an external ITS 6.20. Publishing a service to your ITS (IACOR must be running) will put the templates into the templates folder of an instance of your ITS installation, the Javascript, CSS and GIF files (mimes) into the instance folder in your web server installation path and finally the service files in the service folder of your ITS installation path.
You will not need to use SICF with an external ITS nor will you use an ICF node like /sap/bc/gui/sap/its...
With best regards,
TJ
By accessing pzm3, i am trying to access the transaction that groups all ESS services.
Yes, i understand what you are saying
How do i know wheter IACOR is running?
In services under administrative tools i see SAP IACOR Manager running...
At the first place i tried accessing :
Says service stopped.. What does this mean?
Regards.
Remi
