JSPM questions

Hi, All:

My question is: Can JSPM patch ABAP stack support package, such as Basis, ABAP (SAPKAxxxxxx or SAPKBxxxxxx). Since in JSPM, it support patch entire SPS, but when I load the patches, I didn't find support package like Basis and ABAP?

Anyone can help? Thanks in advance!

No ! You can not update ABAP SP using JSPM though you can update SAP Kernel using JSPM .

Plesae use the tool SPAM to update ABAP Support Pack !

Hi,

JSPM stands for Java Support Package manager. So using JSPM you can only patch the already existing patches and also the kernel.

SPAM stands for Support Package Manager. Here you need to upgrade your ABAP patches.

Both the places the tool has to be updated first. I mean the JSPM and the SPAM.
