Mapping Exception Question

Hi,

I do a mapping via the Message Mapping GUI. This mapping is only for the Response Message. Whenever there is an error in the mapping, I get a Java Exception as expected. But in SXMB_MONI, this exception shows up under the "Original Message" Tab, in Call Adapter service.

Since the mapping is in only the Response, shouldn't this error show under the "Response Message" Tab selection?

If you have a synchronous interface, the response message is not another logical transaction. It's the same.

Hence, an error in the response means an error in the overall transaction.

This error will show on the request and response of a synchronous message. So the behaviour you are experiencing is correct.

I am getting same problem...I could see payload or error under Call Adapter service.
