How to load ECL Viewer

Hello All,

Could someone kindly impart information as to how to integrate ECL Viewer with SAP, and also the path to be used for running ECL viewer.

For example for EAI Viewer, I use the path: EAIWeb.webviewer2D.1 %SAP-CONTROL% in SPRO

Also I assume ECL viewer executable path is to be given while loading the SAP GUI.

Thanks Chris for the reply. So it seems EAI and ECL viewer are the same. Am I correct. Also when I display the file first time, it comes alright. But if I display file second time, it says, file cant be created in C:/tmp.

Yes EAI and ECL are same. Well, here you need to do some debugging to find out why this is happening:-)

Hi Sachin,

Generally there are two possibilities to install the ECL Viewer. So you can install it seperatly as a stand-alone version and as in integrated version with the SAP GUI.

The latest tested and released version on the SAP Service Marketplace is 5.1.3 at the moment.

Hi,

ECL Viewer is alreayd integratd with SAP document management system.

Can you provide more information what exactly you are trying to do?
