I want to take the SAP_ALL profile and copy it to a new role. What is the procedure to do this?

Thanks

Mikie

Mikie,

Your best bet is to create a new role, go to auth tab and then go to menu: Edit->insert authorizations->full authorization.

Hi,

For information, SAP_ALL is a profile, and you want to create a Role. These are separate things, profiles make up Roles.

If you want a Role with the same access then you can follow the advise from Ben, or if you want All authorizations without Basis and HR, try copying the SAP Standard Role 'SAP_ALL_DISPLAY'.

FYI, SAP_ALL_DISPLAY is not available in newer versions.

Please check if this Role is available in your release Mikie.

Hi mikie,

create a new role and then don't add tcodes in the menu directly go to the change authorization data and the add the template SAP_ALL .by this u can create a role which is equivalent to sap_all.
