Direct Material Catalog

Hi,

I have a doubt in CCM for Direct Material.

SRM 4.0 , CCM 2.0 - Classic Scenario

I am transferring material from BE - SRM - CCM & getting correctly updated in my procurement catalog & after Publish , user can also able to select items from catalog. Functionality works fine.

Here I want to know the linkage between Master Catalog & Procurement catalog which I have created for Direct materials. Is it the Product Catagory which are mapped are updating my Procurement catalog after Master entries are approved? or there is some other linkage which updates Procurement catalog for Direct material?

If I create a second procurement catalog with same schema, how system will identify correct catalog to be updated?

Yes, Product Catagory which are mapped will update Procurement catalog after Master entries are approved. In case both the procurement catalogs have identicle schemas and if mapping is done accordingly with master catalog then both the catalog will be updated with same product data from the extracted catalog.
