Installation of CE on Windows 2000

Hi

Based on the following hint, I try to install CE on Windows 2000.

In the precond. phase a popup appears with an information, that an unsupported OS founded -> Windows 2000. I can only click on OK then installations stops.

How can I install CE on Windows 2000 ?

The version has also been tested successfully with Windows 2000 (SP3) and Windows XP (SP1), but is certified only for the two Windows versions above (Note: If you use a Windows XP account without a password , SAP Management Console can not start/stop your instance via Web Service - use system services instead)

Sorry, this is an old entry aka a bug in the docu. Windows 2000 is not supported possible anymore by CE, (its not tested anymore). Most likely Windows XP without passowrd account also does not work anymore.

I use Windows 2000 SP4 and not SP3. Is this the problem ?
