Not authorized to use transaction SMSY!

I want to generation Solution Manager Key for Netweaver04s's installation.

I have already installed Solution Manager 4.0.

but when i use user J2EE_ADMIN to logon Solution Manager via sap login-pad.

want to use transaction SMSY, it told me

" you are not authorized to use transaction SMSY!"

I tried the other transaction .there still not be authorized.

Are there some authorize work to do after installed solution manager?

Hi Lion,

J2EE_ADMIN is the administration user for the J2EE Enigine, but not for SolMan. You should create another user and assign him the proper roles.

SPRO -> SAP Refernce IMG -> SolMan Impl. Guide -> SAP SolMan -> Basic Settings -> SAP SolMan System -> Autho/Users -> perform the 3 actions in this tree
