STMS transaction after implementing CHaRM/TMS in SolMan

Hi All,

Our BASIS folks have a concern that after implementing CHaRM/TMS (Change Request Management for Transport Management) the STMS transaction will be inoperational. This is causing lot of resistance to implement the CHaRM functionality in SolMan.

Can anyone plz provide me with links or information whether the above statement is true or false. BASIS team uses STMS transaction extensively for migration of transport and they do not want to do away with this transaction. They want to relay on this in case of emergencies.

Hey SAP-PP,

Please ask your BASIS team not to worry about this anymore.

i have configured CHARM for two Large Organizations, i can assure that STMS will be operational even after Implementing CHARM.

This means that BASIS team can use STMS, Monitor imports, imports Transport request and perform their normal activities.
