Model Mix planning

Hello all,

We are in the Blueprint phase of the Project for a Heavy Engineering Manufacturing client.

We are Exploring the option of using Model Mix planning in APO.

We have some few queries:

1-We are thinking of Using Model MiX Planning with standard Variant Configuration in R/3.Can we run MMP with Standard VC or does it require a IPPe?

2.Can we Use Discrete Manufacturing with Model mix planning?I mean can we convert Planned orders generated out of Model Mix planning into Production Orders?

You will able to use standard VC.
