Create a Customer in 5 different sales area

Hi All,

I have to create a customer in 5 different sales areas? how can i do that?

hi,

please use the concept of common distribution channel and common division.

use T.codes VOR1 and VOR2 to configure the same. here you basically take one sales area as reference out of the five you have mentioned and create the customer there. Now this reference dist. channel and division are assigned for the rest of the sales areas ( for your dist. chann and divisions).

Now the will exist in all of these sales areas.

1. you can create customer by useing the tcode-->VD01/XD01

AND EXTED TO OTHER SALESAREAS OR

2. YOU CAN USE COMMON DISTRIBUTION CHANNEL AND DIVISION CONCEPT

IF YOU CREATE CUSTOMER IN ONE SALES AREA THAT YOU CAN USE FOR OTHER SALESA AREAS ALSO

Hi,

For your requirement you need to extend the customer to the other sales areas.

1. Go to XD01, create the customer and after saving you will get a customer number if your number range is internal.

2. Now go to XD01 again, select the same account group, put the customer number which you got in the previous step, select the same company code and the new sales area. Below in the 'reference section' put the previously generated customer from step no. 1, select the company code and the previous sales area. Now press enter. Every information will get copied into the new customer. If you want you can change some fields also. Save the customer and the system extends(creates) the same customer for the new sales area.

3. Similarly, extend (create) the same customer to the other sales areas also.

GO TO VD01 OR XD01 AND EXTEND THE CUSTOMER , THE GENERAL DATA WILL BE SAME WHERE AS SALES AREA DATA WILL CHANGE.

A sales area is a combination of sales organisation distribution channel and division.

For example say you have a customer in1234 in 1000/00/00 sales area i.e 1000 sales organization, 00 distribution channel and division.

You can extend this 1234 customer to all the sales areas

goto XD01

Specify the account group

specify the customer number number 1234 for whom the data has to be exetended

specify the company code

specify the new sales area in the above case it is 1000/01/01 and 1000/02/02 1000/03/03, 1000/04/04 and 1000/05/05

in the refernce fields specify the same customer number1000 and the sales area like 1000/00/00

like this you have to extend the customer to all the required sales areas

as per your requirement
