Roles for JAVA Authotizations

Hi All,

We have a requirement from one user.

He needs access to the following Java tools:

SQL TRACE, NWA and Content Administrator.

He has the following roles in SU01:

SAP_SLD_ADMINISTRATOR

SAP_XI_ADMINISTRATOR_ABAP

SAP_XI_ADMINISTRATOR_J2EE

SAP_XI_BPE_ADMINISTRATOR_ABAP

SAP_XI_ID_SERV_USER

SAP_XI_IR_SERV_USER

SAP_XI_IS_SERV_USER

Wich other roles are needed?

or you can set sap_xi_administrator ..it depends on user tasks.

but sap_all and sap_new is not enough

Hi Henrique,

Thanks a lot. As you said with this role the user is able to access to NWA,SQL and content administrator. However he is able to use UME. We would like restrict access to UME.

How can we restrict the access to UME if the user has J2EE_ADMIN role??.

UME is part of NWA.

I don't think that is possible, but please ask in the WAS Java forums.

In order to access NWA (Netweaver Adminsitration interface), I do think he'll need J2EE_ADMIN role.

But you have to evaluate why this user needs access to NWA, since it is tipically a Basis interface.
