Hi All,
for which adapters we use URL to send and recive message .
is R3 systems also use URL to communicate with anothere R3 system.if yes please tell me how it is possible i mean what to be done ....

we will use URL For SOAP,Http,XI Receiver Adapters.
For Jdbc and JMS We have to give Vendor Drivers.
For R/3 URL Not Required.

In receiver side soap adapters we use URL of web service to send and receive synchronous message from the Web service...
May be some more adapters..

according to my client he is using URL and telling two are R3 systems( no documentation is there) and it is old system XI2.0
the URL looks like this
https://www.tps.xyz.com/xi/sap/xi/adapter_plain?bs=sender system&namespace=http%3A%2F%2Fsap.com%2Fxi%2FMM&interface=ORDRSP.ORDERS05&qos=EO
could any one tell me from where this URL is comming( i mean which adapter)..

generally we use url for http and soap adapters to send n recieve messages.
for r3 systems, url is not required.
