what is pretty printer?

the option is there in smartforms.. how can we use pretty printer in smart forms?

Pretty printer is mainly used for the alignment of code, once you click the pretty printer button it will align all your code in a structured format.

This option is mainly helpful for easy reading of code.

Pretty printer formats the code written by u in a gudlooking way so that u can easily go through.

Yes u have pretty printer in smartforms.if u have any program lines on the left to the editor there are 3 icons and the last one is for pretty printer.

Hi Pandu ...

In the smartforms, where you write the code. To the left hand side there are 3 buttons.

1. 1st button --> Syntax Check

2. 2nd button --> Pattern

3. 3rd button --> Pretty Printer.

Hi,

Pretty Printer is used to INDENT the code in SE38

in menu goto-->utilities -->Pretty printer u can get some more options.

The pretty printer alligns your code perfectly, its like identation automatically and also can be used to capitalizes all the ABAP keywords.
