Hi,

Party is used in business to business scenario. We need to give name of party and DUNS number to identify the party.

Hi Keerthi,

Party : Is used to represent a business Partner ( who dose not belong to the Current company's landscape). It is generally defined in a B2B scenario's. So All the systems/services associated with the Party are referred only as Services.

service without party : It is used to represent any service within the landscape and is used in A2A communication.

A Party is an external company that participates in the collaboration process. A party name is unique in the directory. For a party, you can define a global name that is defined using a standard naming scheme like DUNS.

A communication party (party for short) represents a larger unit, which is involved in a collaborative process. Using a communication party, you generally address a company within a cross-company process.

Is used to represent a business Partner ( who dosen't belong to the Current company's landscape). It is generally defined in a B2B scenario's. So All the systems/services accociated with the Party are referred only as Services.

hi keerthi...

we use Party in case of cross company process...

for example if ur company is having 2 or 3 partners...

for each partner u wont be creating separate scenarios...

instead u ill be using party name with existing interfaces to communicate ...

so party is used to identify the business partners...

u can go thru the below link ...
