I am installing ECC 6.0
At the step of "start instance" I have the above error.
I did follow the trick in following topic:
that I change identification of service user to " identified by externally".
But the error keep occurring.
One thing I did is that I already change the password of user SAP<SID> in Oracle.
Does it contribute to this problem.

Hi Truong,
Can you change back the password for SAP<SID> in Oracle? To the same password you used before during initial part of your sap installation. Let me know the result after.
Thanks,
George

I don't know the password of SAP<SID> before I changed, but then I search and test with SAPR3, SAP...
SAP is the right default password and I can proceed.
But at the step of checking DDIC password, the system could not proceed, saying DDIC user does not exist or password is wrong.
I think my installation has too much errors and decided to install again.
Before this step, I have problem with import load, at SAPView, saying some table does not exist.
I had to create table manually from DDL of a live 4.7 instance to proceed.
Now I am doing, not sure the ABAP loading has problem of lacking table or not.
So upset with SAPInst, it does not work consistently.
Thanks for your suggestion.
Giang
