How to test a Module?

Former Member

I need to modify behavior of file adapter. I developed module using this manual:

<a href="https://www.sdn.sap.comhttp://www.sdn.sap.comhttp://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/02706f11-0d01-0010-e5ae-ac25e74c4c81">How to Create Modules for the J2EE Adapter Engine</a>

Now I'm going to test my module. I am new to XI and it is not obvious for me to create whole scenario. So the questions are:

Q1: Is there a way to test module without creating scenario?

Q2: Is there a guide which can help me to create simple scenario fast?

Hi Anton

Just refer the below link may be helpful for u

How to create modules ans test module -

https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/3bdc14e1-0901-0010-b5a9-a01e29d7...

I think the only way to do this would be to configure an end-to-end scenario.

You can then test it by going to:

-> Runtime Workbench(RWB)

-> Component Monitoring

-> Integration Engine

and then select the "Test Message" tab at the bottom of the screen

Well, it is really bad news that I have to configure end-to-end scenario

Is there a guide on creating hello-world scenario?

Runtime Workbench(RWB) -> Component Monitoring -> Integration Engine

and then select the "Test Message" tab at the bottom

From here u can send a sample message.
