Is it complusary to deploy all dependent SC in runtime systems?

We created a new track with dependency with PCUI_GP to test proof of concept to use Floor Plan Manager in custom applications. We are going to use this track only for testing purpose.

PCUI_GP is not deployed in the runtime systems(only dev system here) configured in NWDI. Is it compulsory to deploy all dependent software components of this track in runtime all systems configured for this track?

Hi Kranthi,

It depends how the track was created. When the Product was defined in the SLD and you defined a Software with the context "Installation Time", this software will be deployed in each runtime system, by the other way you have to deploy by your hands.

Thanks for your response. In SLD, dependency is defined during the "build time". So in this case, it is not required to deploy this in runtime systems. Is this correct?

Yes, that's the point!

For instance, check in the SLD how is the ESS product defined, take a look at dependencies and the "Installation time" and then you will see the PCUI_GP.
