ABAP Proxies

Hi,

I am following this scenario,

/people/ravikumar.allampallam/blog/2005/03/14/abap-proxies-in-xiclient-proxy

I dont have 2 clients.

1.

Two clients are must for this scenario ?

2. Do I have to create Target DT, MT, MI, How do I do message mapping and Interface mapping ?

Pls guide me

Dushanth,

I think he dont have an R3 system when writing the weblog. That is the reason why he has triggered from another client of XI system.

If you have R3 system or SRM or BW then write the proxy there and trigger from it so that XI can receive data. Else create one more client and do the same as given in the weblog.

Dushanth,

Its just like creating client in R3. Your basis guys might be able to help you on how to do this. If you want the procedure then please see the installation document there you can see with the detail explanation.

You create all DT, MT, MI, MM and IM in one client and create proxy in another client and send data to the client where you have created the DT, MT etc.

Also there are certain setting needs to be done for triggerring proxy one system to another system. Please see this weblog for these settings:
