Delta loads/extracts in APO-DP?

Hi,

I was wondering if instead of doing a full extract of your APO-DP forecasts you can only do a delta extract, which will only extract forecasts that have been changed since your last scheduled extract?

And what about loading sales history into APO, is there a way to only load the deltas? Or do you do this delta preparation in BW?

Hi David,

Deltas work based on time stamp. If there is a time stamp that you can populate in the planning area each time there is a save or change, then you can do deltas. But I am not sure if live cache is setup that way!

As i know, you can do delta extraction to load sales history from ECC into APO, datasources from R3 are enabled to use deltas.

All connections work must be done in BW-APO, so i don't understand your question about delta preparation.

About the forecast, until now, i can not create a datasource that could use delta processes to extract info from livecache to infocubes.
