post installation for Xi 7.0

hi all,

i am studying XI installation guides. in that they didnt mention about the master DVD or Installation Export. But searching in sdn i found that without export and dump dvd cant continue the post installation process.

I NEED A CLEAR PROCEDURE REGARDING POST-INSTALLATION OF Xi 7.0 ....ALONG WITH THE NEED FOR DVD's..

This will be really helpful..

Hi,

Post Installations Steps

1. You have to run the post installation templates

1. templates for NWD/SLD

2. templates for PI

2. After successfully running the templates you have to import the BASIS component.

3. Import the BASIS latest Component in to Design Time environment, which is given in the installation guide of XI

Hi..

You require these DVDs for insatlling XI 7.0

D51032260m(master DVD)

D51032266(kernel DVD)

D51032257( Java COmponents)

D51032246(Export)

For Post Installation :

open the Url : http://<; xiserver>:500000/

Then go to <b>SAP NetWeaver Administrator</b> and provide the <b>j2ee_admin</b> user and password.

Then click on deploy and change and then follow the steps as Ramesh has mentioned.
