Workflow and BDC

Sir / Madam,

I have developed project and it has been finished. Finally I should update the data through Transaction Code into Standard Table by using Workflow.

How BDC will connect with Workflow by using Function Module?

Hi,

I hope following steps will solve your problem.

1. Create a function module inside a function group. If you dont have any function group, then create it first.

2. Write your BDC program inside the function module.

3. Define a method in your business object which will call this FM.

4. Use that method in your Workflow step with required binding for data flow from Workflow to method and method to FM.

In this way, your FM containing BDC will be executed through Workflow.
