Hi,
As of now with WAS 6.40 version and all service packs we have support only for Java Stack in NWDS.Support for ABAP workbench within the NWDS is deferred to the rollout of next release of NWDS.

Hi Arivind,
NWDS is the SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio, SAP's development environment for Java applications, among them Web Dynpro for Java. The Studio is part of SAP NetWeaver and thus ships with every release of NetWeaver.
Web Dynpro for ABAP is part of SAP NetWeaver 2004s, which will ship to mySAP ERP 2005 ramp-up customers in October of 2005 - and it will ship ONLY as the foundation of mySAP ERP, not stand-alone.
So if you want to develop Web Dynpro applications in ABAP - which you do in the ABAP Workbench, not the Developer Studio - you will need to upgrade to mySAP ERP 2005 when it becomes generally available in April of 2006.
As you are looking at MSS, this may be of interest to you: MSS uses Web Dynpro for Java as the runtime UI for all processes involving interactive PDF forms as part of the application (e.g. Personnel Change Requests). The good thing for you is that this Web Dynpro runtime is a 'black box' to you, all your MSS-related customizing is still done in the corresponding ABAP transactions.
Hopefully this helped.
Kind regards,
Markus Meisl

Hi Arivind,
Webdynpro for ABAP will come with Netweaver 05. So, you won't get it in WAS 6.40. But in newer version you will get it.
