implementation of SAP solution Manager

Dear Sir,

We are planning to implement SAP solution Manager.

Our Present Environment information:

SAP version: 4.7E

Oracle : 9.2.0.7

OS info : HP-UX version B.11.23, hardware ia64

We want to implement SAP solution manager in windows environment.

Please help on this about the suitable server and OS information.

Sizing your Solution Manager can depend on the different components you configure. There are more than nine configurable scenarios. Here's an example hardware configuration and the scenarios used by my client. Performance has been more than acceptable.

IBM Dual Xeon Processor, 2MB L2 Cache

4GB Memory

Windows 2003 Server Standard

2 x 72GB 15k RPM RAID 1 - OS

2 x 72GB 15k RPM RAID 1 - Logs/Page File

3 x 146Gb 10k RPM RAID 5 - Database/SAP Install
