Hello Gurus...

In Classic scenario the sc is created and a follow on document

PR is created.

I have a doubt is PO also created automatically and updated to the front-end?

or we have to manually create a PO in R/3.

plz brief me on this...fully confused.

Hi Arshad,

While creating SC if source of supply is determined from back end (ie. Contract or Inforecord ) & if your customizing setting in SPRO is correct then your SC will result in creation of PO automatically so you do not need to create PO manually.

In SPRO for node

"Define Objects in Backend System (Purch. Reqs, Reservations, Purch. Orders)"

select "Purchase order if Item data is complete" under ext.proc. from drop down.

You have to maintain Number range for ECPO document as Internal Number range in SRM & you have to create new Document type ECPO in ERP for Purchase order & you have to maintain same number but with internal number range in ERP.
