Acknowledgement

Hi All,

is AleAudit works in XI 2.0.

i try to check out IDX_NOALE in 2.0 it is saying doesnot exists.

my scenario is i am sending IDOC from one system to another HTTP system and i want to c acknowledgement from HTTP system.

please give some ideas how can i solve this problem....

but mine is different i am on 2.0 and is there any possibility that i IDOC can recieve acknoledgement from target system..

If not could any one give me idea of how to configure a HTTP---XI----SRM(idoc)

interface....

Hi seshagiri,

thanks for you input,but i am asking for IDOC that too in XI 2.0.i read this document in sdn before i post.

myn copnfusion is how to get acknowledgement from HTTp system

my flow is as follows

SRM--

---

XI--

---

HTTP(client)

SRM place orders throgh idoc and xi process that and it reaches client who using http adapter.and for this IDOC my SRM system have to recieve Acknoledgement..

i think i am clear .

please give me some inputs..

<i>In general, acknowledgments have to be requested explicitly by the sender. However, this does not apply to IDocs. The following acknowledgments are sent back by default:

• System error acknowledgment.

• Application acknowledgment.

• Application error acknowledgment.

To change the default request setting, the corresponding message type has to be

maintained in an exception table. Prior to SAP NetWeaver '04s Exchange

Infrastructure SPS09, the exception table has to be explicitly edited. As of SAP

NetWeaver '04s Exchange Infrastructure SPS09, a program is provided to configure

the acknowledgment requests .

As above, technical sender adapters do not request any acknowledgments. In this

case, the ALEAUDIT IDoc has to be converted to an XI request message before sent back to the sender of the original message. The sending of acknowledgments as XI request messages is supported as of SAP NetWeaver '04s Exchange Infrastructure SPS09 .</i>

As per my inknowledge..

<b>IDocs only return acknowledgments if the receiver is configured for using ALE audit</b> .

ALE audit is only possible for IDocs of type logical system (LS).
