Hi,

Has anyone tried using NetWeaver Platform to develop a J2EE application using Open Source framworks, eg. Spring framework (http://www.springframework.org/)?

Please note that NetWeaver is certified Java EE 5 and that this application server edition comes with a lot of enhancements such as NetWeaver Developer Studio based on Eclipse 3.x and the WTP tools. You may check https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/javaee5 in order so evaluate if spring really the best choice any more.
