"Incorrect Parameter Specified" while Installing Licence Key of MiniSap.HLP

hi,

i got the licence key, i am getting the error message "Incorrect Parameter Specified" when i am clicking on Install. I tried logging on with the user name SAP* and BCUSER. it works on none. i am typing all the information exactly the same as i recieved. I am not typing System Number. I am trying to install it by running the transaction code SLICENSE. I have orderd licence key twice, it does not work on any license key.

Please Guide me how to install it.

Hi Ryan,

What system & version are you on? Can you first please check if note 428966 applies to you. If applicable, please apply the note and try again.

If the problem still there and you are sure license is valid like hardware key specified properly, you can try again at OS level, logged in as <SID>adm. Use the command:

saplicense -install pf=<path to instance profile> TRACE=2

This will generate a trace file named dev_slic in the directory the saplicense command was executed. If you can give me this file and also the result of:

saplicense -test

saplicense -show

saplicense -version
