Maintain the compulsory fields for SU01

Dear experts,

I have a question regarding as SU01.

Where can I maintain the compulsory fields for the user infomation?

As I know, i can maintain that of for example Supplier Information.

Hi Xiaoxuan, the compulsory fields for the user information in SU01 are the last name on address tab and password on the logon data tab. That are the minimun requirements to create an user account.

You can check the tables:

USR03 - User address data

USR06 - Additional Data per User

Hi Xiaoxuan,

In case if you want to maintain a different field as a mandatory field other than what SAP gives (Last name and Password), you can use SHD0 transaction and create a variant for the transaction (here you can define the mandatory fields, default values etc.). You can then use this variant with the transaction. Hope this helps.
